Is Glenn Beck Right?

It appears there may be a spy among us, Mr. Bond.

Can this possibly be a coincidence?  Glenn Beck was only trying to tell us just
five short days ago that Communists were really still a threat in America.  Suddenly, the U.S. Justice Department charges 11 suspects as Russian spys.

Glenn Beck may just be the Second Coming!  He must be some kind of Prophet at the very least.

Russian ministers have questioned the timing of this spy ring arrest
suggesting people within the U.S. government might not appreciate the "positive character of the current stage of development of Russian-American relations."

The accusations are unclear as to what harm has actually been done by these Russians spying in the U.S.A.  So far the charges against the Russian spys are focused on money laundering and conspiracy.  Nobody has been convicted yet because the story hasn't been told.  I'm sure in coming days it will though.  The shelf life of this story must be at least a month depending on how far away trial dates will be set.

Some parts of the story that don't make sense: these Russian spys are alleged to have used Morse Code and invisible ink as part of their operations.  Why would someone use invisible ink and letters today with email encryption being easily accessible and text messaging widely available.
Morse Code decryption manuals  are ready at hand to anyone with a computer and internet connection.

Morse Code is an antique!

Questions to consider: What information do we have that must be guarded from foreign eyes?  The Russian spies mentioned so far are
reportedly working in the "tourism business and journalism" what secrets do they have access to that I don't?  In the book 1984, one principle characteristic of the government is its consistently being at war with someone regardless of which country was actually the enemy at any given time.

Do we really need to always be at war with someone?
