March 11th Birthdays

(1926) Ralph Abernathy- An unsung hero of the American Civil Rights Movement.

(1931) Rupert Murdoch- According to some people he is ruining the Fourth Estate.

(1934) Sam Donaldson- He was given the job to interpret reality for a population.

(1950) Bobby McFerrin- How can you be sad when you hear this song?  You may turn it off, but I think it's impossible to be sad and listen to it.

Interesting side note: Apparently no instruments were used in the making of this song.  It's all Bobby McFerrin vocals.

(1952) Douglas Adams- Heralded as one of the greats in Science Fiction writing.

(1981) LeToya Luckett- Destiny's Child made some good music, but they're one of those bands where I can't be bothered trying to figure out who was in and who was out when certain songs were made.
