February 6th Birthday Shout Outs
(1564) Christopher Marlowe- Some people claim he's the real Shakespeare.
(1756) Aaron Burr- He was the 3rd Vice President of the United States of America and he took Alexander Hamilton out in a duel.
(1911) Ronald Reagan- 40th President of the United States of America and to some it seems the iconic figure for our future.
(1919) Zsa Zsa Gabor- To paraphrase Rodney Dangerfield, I bet she was something before electricity.

(1931) Mamie Van Doren- She featured in many a schoolboy fantasy.

(1939) Mike Farrell- Although his work on MASH signaled, for me, the downfall of the show; he's still B.J. You can't be mad at B.J. and that was the problem with MASH after his character was introduced.
(1940) Tom Brokaw- He was given the task of interpreting reality for an entire nation.
(1945) Bob Marley- A great and beautiful mind.
(1957) Robert Townsend- I can't say that I was ever a huge fan of his, but he did uncredited work in "The Warriors" as a Baseball Fury (according to imdb.com) and he always seemed to try hard.
(1962) Axl Rose- He seems like a pain in the ass but he's made some good music with Guns and Roses. When I saw him in Charlotte he was wasted and singing like garbage. Quite the conundrum.

Steve Martin is one of the most intelligent, well-read human beings that I've evercome across. He is equally as funny off screen as he is on. But he also has a very intellectual side, and he's a really nice human being. We actually bcome good friends.
